When Nature creates pools

Mother Nature awards us everyday with unique and incredible shows, such as breath-taking sunsets, colorful sunrises and unique landscapes.

The Golden Scope is trying to find and write about all the most fascinating and wonderful natural things that we can find on our planet. First was the incredible sunset of Kratie province in Cambodia, then the beautiful mountain tracks, the river rafting spots and the wonderful tunnels made of flowers and plants…

Once again, The Golden Scope found something that is both designed and created by Mother Nature, something that has been fascinating the human being for centuries, and that is incredibly beautiful!

Indeed, we could actually say that before technology hit the world, men used to swim, bathe and clean in those places: you probably already realized that I am talking about natural swimming pools.

Natural pools are hollows that with time have been filled with water, and they are usually located next to the seaside, near a waterfall or a lake, or in a rocky area. Despite the weather condition or even the different kind of landscape, natural pools can be found in almost every continent of the world, and they are as beautiful as they look in photo.
