QIANDAO LAKE

Qiandao Lake—also known as Thousand Island Lake—is­ a man-made lake located in Zhejiang, in China. It was created in 1959, after to support the Xin’an River hydroelectric station. It is known as the Thousand Island Lake as 1,078 large islands, plus a few thousand smaller ones, are scattered across the water basin.

WAIOTAPU

Waiotapu is an active geothermal area located in New Zealand. The whole area spans 18 square kilometres. Waiotapu presents many hot springs, which are noted for their colourful appearance; the Lady Knox Geyser, Champagne Pool, Artist’s Palette, Primrose Terrace and boiling mud pools.

GIARDINI BOTANICI VILLA TARANTO

Giardini Botanici Villa Taranto are botanical gardens situated on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, a lake not too far from Milan, Italy. The gardens feature different kinds of flora and are open daily.

MIRISSA

Mirissa is considered among Shri-lanka’s most beautiful beaches. It is located 4km southwest of Weligama, and it is quite secluded. This hidden gem is perfect for all those who want to relax and enjoy the local culture.

BLUE LAKE

Blue Lake is a small lake located in Nelson Lakes National Park, in New Zealand. This beautiful water basin has the clearest natural fresh water in the world: its visibility ranged from 70 to 80 metres.
